Innature Organic Latex Wool Bassinet Mattress

An absolutely beautiful quality bassinet mattress, hand-made in Auckland by INNATURE. Featuring a 50mm natural organic latex core of medium density with a 100% unbleached cotton and hemp cover. The cover is quilted with 250gsm eco wool wadding. Choosing a mattress which will ensure your baby is sleeping in a safe and comfortable environment is so important to ensure a healthy start and the best night’s rest. These differ from most natural fibre mattresses in that they offer a firm, safe sleep surface while still offering the benefits of wool.

These come with a changeable outer cover,however we recommend you also use a mattress protector.

Baby Monitors: We don’t recommend using a wool covered mattress with baby monitor such as an Angelcare, that has a piece of plastic which doesn’t breathe . The monitor pads will reflect moisture back into the mattress and likely result in mouldy patches to appear on your mattress. To avoid this please make a woolen cover for the monitor pad or put it under a woolen blanket and under the mattress. You will need to regularly air those items.
